Biomechanics & Horse Simulator
Practice doesn’t make perfect.
Perfect practice makes perfect.
This is what we can do on the horse simulator, make perfect practice. Progress in riding depends on correct repetition. Biomechanical assessment and horse simulator training provides a controlled environment where alignment, balance, and coordination can be seen immediately and adjusted deliberately.
Biomechanics is about understanding how the rider’s body functions and making precise corrections that support effective communication with the horse.

Rider Biomechanics Specialist | Equestrian Coach | FEI Steward
Have you ever felt like something in your riding just isn’t working the way it should?
Maybe your confidence has slipped.
Maybe your progress has stalled and you want to move forward.
Maybe you want your horse to feel more comfortable and easier to influence.
You’re not alone.
Many riders struggle with things like sitting trot, losing their stirrups, or feeling unbalanced in the saddle. Often the solution isn’t riding harder or riding more — it’s understanding how your body influences the horse.
That’s where I can help.
Improve Your Riding with Will-Oh! the Horse Simulator
Using Will-Oh!, the horse simulator, we can focus entirely on the rider. Without worrying about the horse, we can clearly see and feel how balance, position, and coordination affect your riding.
• Improve balance and stability
• Develop an independent seat and quiet hands
• Understand how their aids influence the horse
• Build strength and coordination
• Gain confidence in the saddle
Many riders experience immediate improvement once they understand how their body works with the horse’s movement.
*In-person and virtual consultations available.

How Simulator Sessions Are Structured
Simulator sessions are not random exercises. Each session follows a deliberate structure designed to identify imbalance, introduce correction, and reinforce accurate movement patterns.
Assessment
Initial evaluation of pelvic alignment, balance symmetry, and upper-body stability.
Targeted Correction
Focused adjustments with guided repetition and exercises.
Progressive Integration
Corrections are layered and consolidated before being transferred back to the horse to ensure retention and stability.
Who Benefits from Simulator Training?
Returning Riders
Improving balance, stability, and clarity of aids.
Competitive Athletes
Refining techical precision beyond what is esily perceived under saddle
Training Programs & Facilities
Integrating structured “off-horse’ training to strengthen consistency and protect horse welfare.
